A STUDIO WEEK IN THE SUMMER
(large studio)
Each artist/company/collective (Max 3 per week) will have 7 days of personal studio time combined with short work-in-progress meetings on Wednesday. Each artist/company/collective will have 2 mentoring sessions one before and one after the week. The week culminates in a Sunday evening studio sharing with the other 1 or 2 artists/ companies working the same week (max 7 invited guests per artist/ company)
Summary of the 7 days:
- Option of 25 or 36 studio hours per maker/artist/company
- 2 artists meetings with other summer residency artists
- 2 x 1 hr mentoring session with Caroline Salem
- End-of-week studio or online presentation for an invited audience
- Option of live-in accommodation for additional £35/night/person max 3 people
Programme options and artists contributions:
25 studio hours over 7 days (4hr session Mon,Tues,Thurs,Sat & 3hr sessions Wed,Fri,Sun): £295
36 studio hours over 7 days (6hr session Mon,Tues,Thurs,Sat & 4hr sessions Wed,Fri,Sun): £430
Flexible payments: instalments can be paid over 12 weeks or even longer.
A SKYROOM WEEK IN THE SUMMER
(small solo writing, digital/visual artspace)
(The Skyroom is a small solo writing / visual practice space)
Summary of the 7 days:
- 6 x 5hrs sessions in the Skyroom AM 9/10am – 2/3pm OR PM 2/3pm – 7/8pm
- 2 artists meetings with other summer residency artists (Wed and Fri)
- 2 x 1 hr mentoring session with Caroline Salem
- Sunday presentation/ reading / performance with other “A STUDIO WEEK IN THE SUMMER artists and your invited audience
- Option of live-in accommodation for additional £35/night
