Mary Lou & Slim Ditty are passionate about good old fashioned vintage song and dance, theatricality, artistry and style. They bring their own unique energy and panache to classic songs, taking audiences into a world of magical moments, nostalgia, fun and romance.
Both are skilled performers and experienced in community arts practice. Mary Lou & Slim Ditty reach out to audiences to elevate and uplift them and shake all their cares away. The duo shoots out a programme of catchy tunes, rendered with superb confidence and originality. Mary-Lou’s stage-skimming dancing is audacious, bright, original and ever-changing and Steve Skinley brings a new lease of life to those timeless melodies; I Get a Kick Out of You, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Paper Moon, Smile Tho’ Your Heart is Aching to name but a few.
