Outdoor Arts Volunteering

Volunteering is often an excellent chance to gain experience in the sector and an entry point for many to learn about working in outdoor arts and festivals. They are usually fun opportunities and a chance to meet new people and see interesting work. In some cases, they provide the chance to attend a festival for free or to work alongside artists, producers and technical teams. Many opportunities, such as volunteer performers, are often tied in with community participation.

There are, of course, questions around unpaid opportunities being inaccessible for some people; we focus here on short-term volunteering, rather than roles that replace long-term jobs.

If you have any questions or have an Outdoor Arts volunteering opportunity to share, get in touch with us at info@outdoorartsuk.org.
