Socially Conscious Project Coordinator/Emerging Producer

Flora is an emerging Arts Producer currently based in London, looking to establish a wider network amongst other Outdoor Arts producers, programmers and venues. She is motivated by art that engages with as wide an audience as possible, creating innovative and exciting experiences for all.

Having previously worked with Activate Performing Arts & B-side (Dorset), First Art, Nonsuch Studios and Architects of Air (Nottinghamshire) in both Events and Project Coordination roles, she currently works for Create Arts, Project Managing creative workshops across a wide variety of community settings, with those who are most vulnerable or at risk of isolation. Overseeing these workshops across the UK, she has worked with a wide range of participant groups, including SEN children/adults, young/adult carers, older people, refugees/new arrivals, survivors of modern slaver and young people with severe ill mental health. She now hopes to utilise these experiences engaging with marginalised groups and managing community relationships, to strengthen her work in participatory outdoor arts on a much wider scale.

Flora is also passionate about centralising environmental discourse in her work, pushing for increased sustainability within the arts and cultural sector wherever possible. Her dissertation focused on the greening, and greenwashing of UK festivals and she is enthusiastic to further explore the combatting of the climate crisis through public arts engagement.
