Being Now Here is about connecting to our inner world, a disruption to check-in. Creating visual installations that immerse visitors and change perspectives.

Being Now Here has been providing installations for Light festivals and events since 2019. We have had the public playing neon interactive games about the philosophy of happiness to writing carbon footprint promises cast in ice with Life-sized, recycled Polar bears. And now we offer them a chance to enter the mind, through a network of giant neurons, listen to the messages and watch the electrical light impulses transporting and connecting the thoughts.

Founder Gemma Wood MA has a participatory arts practice and all Being Now Here projects have interaction at their core.  Offering pre-event experiences connects the work to a community and brings added value to the project, sometimes co-creation or taking part at the event.
