A weekend of two intensive workshops to learn the art of bringing objects to life with puppeteer and puppetry director Tessa Bide.
Tessa has been puppeteering for 10 years and has worked all over the world. She has worked and trained with various companies including The Little angel, Blind Summit (olympic Opening Ceremony 2012) and Mervyn Millar – Puppetry Director for War Horse.
Saturday 26 March – An Introduction to Puppetry for Beginners.Â
Covering the basics of objet manipulation, bunraky puppetry and lip syncing.
Sunday 27 March – Building Skills/Intermediate Level
Furthering the above skills and more including; devising with puppets, making simple puppets and large scale pupeptry with expert Isabel Lyster from Paper Jungle. For physical performers and actors who want to build confidence to audition fo puppetry jobs and create work with puppets.

Cost: £80 one day/ £150 weekend.
