Pizza & Pitches, Arc, Stockton
May 25, 2021

Would you like to do something new and creative? Are you interested in putting on an event or activity for people in Stockton?

ARC is looking for people to help develop new ideas for events and activities.

We want to work with local people to support you to turn your ideas into reality. Maybe you’ve always wanted to stage a fashion show, write or direct a play, teach other people how to cook or develop your own video skills? Now’s your chance.

ARC is offering grants of £1,000 plus use of our building, staff and resources to help you stage events and activities. We can help you develop your idea, work out how to do it and what it will cost.

How does it work?

Send us your ideas using the form below and we will get in touch to arrange a time to chat.

Our community panel will select four proposals to be considered at our next Pizza and Pitches night on Tuesday 25 May. Anyone (and everyone!) is invited to come along, enjoy free pizza and hear about the proposals, and then at the end of the night, vote on which one should be supported.

If your proposal is chosen, we will work with you to make your idea happen!

What are we looking for?

Your idea must be for something creative and new (i.e. it can’t be for an event or activity already taking place). It must be open to the public, as we want our events and activities to encourage more people to be creative, either by watching or taking part.

Who can put ideas forward?

Anyone can put an idea forward, but we would expect you to have some connection with Stockton – be either living, working or studying locally, or have existing relationships with local people that will be part of your idea.

You definitely don’t have to be an artist, but we can help connect you with people who have experience of delivering creative activity if you need support.
