Calling all outdoor artists, shakers and makers to…FLOI 23. A time to congregate, cross-pollinate and invigorate. 48 hours of fun, food & friendship. This year’s theme is… the BIZARRE.
For the Love Of It is the National Association of Street Artists’ weekend gathering of outdoor artists, companies, producers, bookers and makers, usually held in around early March. It is a movable feast that travels around the country, though in more recent years alternating roaming with hosting at home base – the 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space in Newbury.
“Although NASA does not advocate artists working for no money, FLOI represents something crucial that is separate from the financial side of the work, of fundraising and getting gigs. The weekend acts as our collective pre-season reminder to ourselves. A chance to share inspiration with each other and to reconnect with why we do what we do ~ because we love it so.”
