Dealing with Brexit (Xtrax)

XTRAX’s monthly event Dealing with Brexit: Open Conversations, is designed to provide an informal space to encourage information sharing between peers around touring post-Brexit.

In the first Dealing with Brexit session of 2022, we’ll look at the specificities of touring to Spain and what the recent lifting of visa restrictions by the Spanish government means for UK artists.

We’re honored to be joined by Hanna Madalska-Gayer, Head of Policy and Communications at the Association of British Orchestras (ABO), who will talk us through the experiences of ABO members of touring to Spain since Brexit as well as the part the ABO played in securing the Spanish visa waiver for performing arts professionals in November 2021.
