Carbon Literacy in Theatre Drama & Devising Workshop, London
Sep 19, 2024 - Oct 4, 2024

Carbon Literacy is an awareness of the carbon costs and impact of everyday activities, and provides the ability and motivation to reduce emissions on an individual, community and organisational basis.

Through this workshop you will learn about the science and impacts of climate change; climate justice; carbon footprints; and ways to incorporate environmental responsibility into your work as a theatre maker. The training involves drama and devising activities as well as facilitated discussion, giving all attendees the opportunity to experience embodied learning, and align the training with their own theatre practice.

At the end of the workshop and upon completion of a short action plan, you will be accredited as ‘Carbon Literate’. For more about Carbon Literacy please visit: https://carbonliteracy.com/about-us/

You must attend all sessions to be accredited.
