About Gemma:

Gemma’s performance career has spanned more than 20 years, working with some of the UK’s foremost companies including The Royal Ballet, Rambert and Scottish Dance Theatre, Russell Maliphant Dance Company and Company Chameleon. She has collaborated with, and worked alongside choreographers and theatre directors from all over the world.

Considerations around mindset and goal setting have underpinned her work both in and outside of the studio, and on and off the stage. Her understanding of these principles are deepened through her work as a creator, and her work in devising, directing, teaching, mentoring and coaching. Her work has spanned all ages and abilities, in professional, educational and community settings. These experiences have given an extensive understanding of challenges one faces navigating their way through an ever-changing artistic landscape.

In 2022 Gemma was awarded coaching accreditation through Relational Dynamics 1st.

She has since coached on a 1 on 1 basis and in group settings, creative settings, creatively exploring and challenging patterns of thought and behaviour for continued personal growth. This work extends beyond the Arts and Culture sector.

She is passionate about the boundless possibilities coaching methods have to enhance and unlock potential both as an individual and/or collaborative teams. She believes strongly in the use of coaching methodologies as a resource to support the artistic community, and their long-lasting positive effect in a world where resilience and adaptability are key qualities to thrive and succeed.
