A directory of Outdoor Arts Professionals & Consultants, who may be useful to the wider cultural sector in advising, consulting and advocating for outdoor work. If you’re a venue, organisation, company or artist new to outdoor performance or interested in finding out more about how to work outside, these could be the knowledgeable and helpful voices you are looking for.
The directory is broadly divided into three categories:
- ‘Artistic’ (directors, choreographers, designers etc)
- ‘Production’ (production managers, technicians, health & safety, riggers, makers etc)
- ‘Producers’ (festival programmers, outdoor producers, marketing etc)
We are aware that everyone working in the cultural sector is in a difficult financial position at the moment, and we ask you to recognise that this professional expertise should not be assumed to be free. In some cases, salaried staff or those on furlough may offer some time without charge, but please don’t assume.
OAUK will act as the contact point, but negotiations are between individual parties involved. If you are in need of some advice, but not sure where to turn, OAUK offers free bookable weekly 1-2-1 sessions online.
