Movement Director and Artistic Director of Loose End Physical Theatre

I am a movement director. I work primarily at present within the circus world,  my work is about the powerful way that extended physicalized skills such as circus (but not limited to circus) can be harnessed to explain concepts and tell stories, and how the extension of gesture into the highly physical can make empathic moments more powerful.

My background is in Contemporary Arts BA (Hons), Nottingham Trent University, 2005 explored the use and ownership of space through a variety of media: text, sculpture, photography, video, spoken word, projection, and movement. Including site-specific work, projections, and performers in aerial harnesses. With the support of the ACE, I trained in aerial arts touring nationally and internationally as a performer before becoming a director.
