Motivated by the boundless potential of people to create extraordinary shared moments, illuminate new ways of thinking and profound moments of connection with strangers... all outdoors of course!

Having built an arts career mainly working indoors, in 2019 I was re-born into the Outdoor Arts Sector. And boy the transition feels good. I bring the wealth of experience I have gained working in/with communities and participation work in a wide-range of settings, an urgent commitment to diversity and sustainability, and an artistic eye that impresses.

I am a natural collaborator and thrive when co-creating with others.

Creatively invigorated by working outdoors since 2019, recent roles include:

  • Creative Programmer: Programming, curating and commissioning a 2-day city centre event in Oldham for the Platinum Jubilee (June 2022)
  • Artistic Director: AD and Creative Producer for SpareParts (an ACE funded project programming, commissioning and producing outdoor arts at five non-arts UK regional community-led festivals) (2019-2021)
  • Artist: Tree of Trespass, an up-cycled installation sited a tree, highlighting the importance of the ‘Right to Roam’ campaign. Featured at Buxton International Festival & New Mills Festival (2021)
  • Creative Producer/Artist: Conceived and produced ESSENCE, a commission for Festival Stoke creating a spectacular installation and art trail through Stoke, that celebrated the spirit of people in Stoke-on-Trent. A temporary outdoor piece of public artwork applying large-scale sculptures to capture the essence of people making a difference in their communities; collectively embodying the heartbeat of Stoke as a place and an identity. (2020)
  • Artist: Toured the UK as part of BLINK, an outdoor arts installation and participatory experience produced by Emergency Exit Arts. Awarded a commission by B-arts, BLINK (Reconcile) was a micro-ceremony which focused on personal peace.
