Fund A Fest

We are experts in organising outdoor events and we do this to support local charities and community groups who otherwise wouldn’t have the resources or expertise to run the events themselves.

Fund A Fest is a Community Interest Company (CIC) operating across the North of the UK.

FUND A FEST CIC is a social enterprise which organises and runs events for charities and community groups to enable them to bring their members and supporters together and raise funds for their organisations. It brings together the skills and experience of FUND A FEST with local groups who have not run bigger events before.

FUND A FEST will start to work with a charity or community group up to one year ahead of the planned event and a minimum of 3 months for smaller events. They will draw up an events plan and budget and support the organisations to raise initial funding from small grants, sponsorship and of course the FUND A FEST fundraising platform.

Decisions will be taken about location, activities, ticketing, insurance etc using a project planning system developed by FUND A FEST to encompass all aspects of each event.

The charity or community group will be helped to develop their skills as they are taken through the planning process so that they build capacity within their group for organising future events.

The agreement with FUND A FEST is that the community group will manage the funding for the event, supported by FUND A FEST and FUND A FEST will earn its income from the sale of drinks at the event itself.
