Bold, punchy dance inspired by Maya Angelou’s famous poem Still I Rise
Intensely physical, powerful and uplifting dance, TRIBE//’s new outdoor work for four female dancers simmers with tension and emotional force.
Defiantly performed with a gutsy power, the dancers draw the audience in to a fearless kinetic world of unity and hope, driven by a soundtrack of restless beats.
Falling down, gathering up ….we rise.
RISE is co-commissioned by HatFair and Watermans Arts Centre, supported by Surf the Wave Legacy fund.
