Following the cancellation of the 2020 Carnival due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are delighted to announce that the 2021 Carnival will take place on Saturday 21 August. We don’t know what restrictions will be in place at that time but we expect the event will be on a slightly reduced scale. Unfortunately there will not be a procession through the streets of Hanwell this year.
Our first priority is the safety of everyone taking part in or attending the Carnival, so we will of course comply with any government directives that are in force. Nevertheless we believe that the Carnival can play a positive role in these challenging times and bring the people of Hanwell together for a great day in the summer. We hope we can rely on the support of the Hanwell community to stage the event.
