Timber Festival, Feanedock, Leicestershire
Jul 2, 2021 - Jul 4, 2021

Join new thinkers in the National Forest as they challenge us to re-examine our relationship with the natural world. Gather with artists, musicians and writers, as they respond and react to the forest in bold and exhilarating ways. Activists and makers will invite you to join them in a joyous celebration of nature. The rebels and the unexpected from the worlds of music, art, performance and wellbeing will play, provoke and inspire as we change the world.

So come on in, unplug, walk in among the trees and fall under Timber’s spell. Recharge under the leaves. It’s good for the soul.

Field Music, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Gruff Rhys, The Unthanks, Snapped Ankles, Erland Cooper, Sam Lee, Simon Armitage and Caroline Lucas top our Timber line-up where music, performance and the arts run wild.

Five-piece indie-rock outfit from Sunderland Field Music are heading to Timber next year. Expect pop-funk fusion, erudite ideas and what’s sure to be an imaginative, spine-tingling performance.

Julie Hesmondhalgh is joining us next summer for a live recording of the Wilderness Tracks podcast with Geoff Bird where she’ll share six songs which soundtrack her relationship with nature.

Spiralling and spinning and seemingly weightless, an acrobat suspended beneath a helium balloon will explore the uncharted space between the ground and the treetops in The Dream Engine’s Heliosphere.
