As we are sure you are aware, the UK signed a Trade and Cooperation Agreement with the EU on 24 Dec 2020. Within the deal, there is little consideration of how artists and creatives will be able to continue to work in the EU. This has many ramifications for the Outdoor Arts sector, as many companies and artists have built their business models, budgets and reputations on the ability to work internationally. The lack of attention to the whole of the creative sector is disappointing, to say the least.
We will continue to look at what the practicalities of this ‘new reality’ are, but in the meantime, please consider signing the petition asking for a cultural work permit.
