Join OutdoorArtsUK in the Circus & Theatre Green Room Tent for an informal networking event for anyone working in the outdoors. A chance to join a conversation about the advantages and disadvantages of funding, learn about Glastonbury programming, enjoy a bit of light networking and have a beer or two with mates.

5.15pm Welcome and introductions
Hello and welcome from OutdoorArtsUK, chaired by David and Jojo (plus an unashamed sales pitch for OAUK Membership).

- Jojo Pickering (Bash Street Theatre)
5.30pm Discussion: To Fund or Not to Fund?
Perhaps you hate the idea of applying for funding, have tried and failed or just don’t know where to start. We’re inviting our speakers to talk about the pros and cons of applying for money for those performing in outdoor settings. If you do work outside, it’s a very hot area of investment and there are often good opportunities for funding to create and tour new work – but the application process can be challenging, time-consuming and, potentially, restricting. Our panel will share some of their experiences and dos and don’ts of the process.
- Alan Richardson (Surge Scotland)
- Charmaine Childs (Strong Lady Productions)
- David Doust (OutdoorArtsUK)
- Jojo Pickering (Bash Street Theatre)
