North Sea Sirens (Periplum), Redcar and Cleveland
Sep 27, 2024 - Sep 28, 2024

The Sirens have been singing their songs across the North Sea for centuries. What if these songs were not to lure ships to crash into the rocks, but to guide us away from dangers of our own making, & remind us of the treasures that surround us?

Sign up for this poetic, sonic odyssey celebrating some of East Cleveland’s magical landscapes, and the industrial heritage, myths and folklore they hold.

Periplum’s North Sea Sirens will take you on a bus ride from Saltburn-by-the-Sea to an undisclosed location, where you will go on a 50-minute headphone walking experience before being transported back to Saltburn.

North Sea Sirens is a free event, but for the audio tour you must have a pre-booked ticket.

It is important to arrive within 15 minutes of the stated time on your tickets, as the bus will leave promptly.
