Performer/Clown/Puppeteer/Story teller/Fool/Tired Dad
Hello! My name is Adam and I’ve worked in theatre for over ten years now. My main background is in physical and visual theatre including modern clowning, improvisation, storytelling, puppetry, mask and movement.
I have worked for many years in community arts, including with the fantastic Wyldwood Arts who are based in the South West (Website HERE). I have run a lot of intergenerational workshops on improvised storytelling, taking primary school kids into care homes and making up imaginative stories all together. My work frequently takes me into the world of Street Theatre with companies like Swish Boing and my own shows The Adventure Walk and The Crossroads Show.
I’ve worked a lot in traditional theatre spaces as a performer and deviser including with my company Opposable Thumb Theatre, we make adult shows and tour internationally including “Coulrophobia: two clowns trapped in a cardboard world”. Check out our website HERE if you’d like. The Adventure Bureau is a fantastic company my friends run who I’ve teamed up with as an associate artist (Website HERE) We support each other and sometimes collaborate, all in the world of improvised storytelling.
