What is the survey for?

This survey is part of a larger study by researchers at the University of Essex on behalf of Arts Council England. It aims to understand the working conditions and experiences of freelancers employed in England’s creative and cultural sector.

Arts Council England is a non-departmental public body of the Department for Culture, Media, and Sport. It is a registered charity and is the main organisation responsible for funding, supporting, and developing creativity and culture in England.
