We are pleased to announce that OutdoorArtsUK has been successful in our application for Arts Council England Funding for 2023-2026.

“Overall the programme is well-suited to supporting the sectors’ understanding and delivery of the Investment Principles, and though there are other Outdoor Arts NPOs who offer support for quality in specific outdoor artforms, this organisation is alone in including all artforms and supporting all IPs across the sector and beyond, as many of the members have both an indoor and outdoor practice.   OAUK supports the wider strategic aims of Let’s Create and has built a business plan to develop these ambitiously across the outdoor arts industry.

New initiatives will help drive development and access to the sector. The applicant has clearly titled each of the strands of activity in their strategic plan over the next three years and these projects fit into their over-arching 5 goals to be a membership, advisory, information, event and advocacy organisation. New initiatives will help to drive diversification and ambition in the sector.”

We applied for standstill funding as an ‘Investment Principle Support Organisation’ and will receive £173, 578 per annum for three years.

Many thanks to the team and the board for their support in the application process and ongoing delivery of the programme.

We will report on the results for the rest of the sector in due course.
