Cardiff | Hijinx’s Unity Festival runs in Bangor from 28-29 Jun, and Llanelli from 1-2 Jul, with theatre, a film festival, and loads of exciting free street theatre including Hijinx, Stopgap Dance Theatre, Kitch n Sync, Cheryl Beer, Humans Move, Danza Mobile, Taking Flight Theatre Company and LAStheatre.

Cheltenham | If you’re at Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival this weekend be sure not to miss some brilliant outdoor arts from Dizzy O’Dare with The Giant Balloon Show, and JezO’s magic show where JezO will be playing with magic, fire, and comedy props.

Ashbourne | Situated in the southern end of the Derbyshire Dales, the small market town of Ashbourne hosts Ashbourne Festival from 17 Jun-3 Jul. This year’s festival includes lots of exciting events including Poetry in the Garden this Sunday afternoon, Illyria with A Midsummer Night’s Dream on 2 Jul, and Picnic in the Park on 3 Jul with The Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Farnham | It’s Carnival time! Head to Farnham Carnival tomorrow for the Gostrey Meadow Fayre and Town Centre Parade, and the biggest Royal party in town!

Tilbury | A section of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant called The Thank You Dance is coming to Tilbury for the T100 festival finale and Port Open Day! If you’d like to attend the flag-waving workshop and dance along with the parade, meet at the registration point in Anchor Fields Park tomorrow at 12.45pm.

Newbury | Tomorrow head to Newbury Town Centre at 3pm to see Dominoes by Station House Opera, produced by Artsadmin. Choose your place to watch as the domino fall comes past or plan to chase them en route to their final destination in Victoria Park.

County Tyrone, County Antrim, & South Wales | Green Space Dark Skiesled by Walk the Plank, heads to Sperrin AONB tomorrow, and then Causeway Coast AONB on 2 Jul, and Brecon Beacons National Park on 6 Jul. 20,000 people will become Lumenators, each carrying a low impact light into the landscape, making patterns on mountains, lakes and moorland.

Redbridge | Everybody clap your pans – it’s time for The Rascally Diner! Redbridge Outdoor Arts 2022 presents The Rascally Diner by LAStheatre tomorrow at Fullwell Cross Leisure Centre and on Sunday at Ilford Town Centre – Wilderness Street. It’s a fun-filled, messy performance about food that’s not to be missed!

Deighton | The next Deighton Carnival takes place tomorrow at The Deighton Centre, with a colourful procession, the Roots and Culture Arena, and field activities.

Glasgow | Head to Kelvingrove Park on Sunday from 12-8pm for Glasgow Mela, bringing music, dance, arts, and vibrancy to the heart of Glasgow’s west end, showcasing local artists and performers and national and international acts.

Lewisham | As part of the London Borough of Culture in Lewisham 2022, Teatro Vivo have been commissioned as ‘Artists of Change’. The Lewisham Usherettes have been gathering the opinions of Lewisham residents about how we can use climate adaptation to make the borough the best it can be, and workshops with 19 community groups have explored these ideas. This work has inspired the show Lewisham Speaks which will be performed between 21 Jun-3 Jul. See it at Telegraph Hill and Crofton Park tomorrow, and Bellingham and Perry Vale on Sunday.

Birmingham | There are three great chances to catch Autin Dance Theatre’s Out of the Deep Blue at Midlands Arts Centre on Sunday, at 11am, 1pm and 4pm. Out of the Deep Blue is a tale told in two parts – an interactive promenade and a physical theatre duet – transporting its audiences into another world, to tell a story about our own.

Covent Garden | Experience Shakespeare’s best-loved comedy in the heart of Covent Garden with the award-winning Iris Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, running 29 Jun-13 Aug.

Southwold | Tomorrow sees The Southwold Arts Festival launched with a colourful street procession, with choirs, bands, and street entertainers taking over the town centre. Throughout the afternoon musicians, dancers, and street performers will entertain audiences in the Market Place.

Tilbury | The Tilbury Bridge Walkway of Memories outdoor art and sound installation is now open. Artist EVEWRIGHT will take you on a guided tour of the site-specific art installation, comprised of images, documents, audio recordings and memorabilia on 432 panes of glass, adorning one of the bridges that passengers of the Empire Windrush first walked across as they entered Britain in 1948.
