In partnership with British Council, Unlimited are excited to announce Round 3 of the British Council Unlimited Micro Awards, which will give ten pairs of disabled artists the opportunity to make connections and work collaboratively on an international level. Why apply?
Rachel Walker, Unlimited Project Manager: “These awards are to enable the building of artistic connections between UK-based and international disabled artists. They recognise the value and opportunity that comes with just making that initial link, especially across borders. Rounds 1 and 2 saw over 40 artists learn from each other, exchange skills, compare creative processes and build relationships for future work. Artists reflected that they had ‘opened each other’s minds’, ‘enabled two seeds to germinate’ and several UK-based artists said that they had been able to ‘realise ambitions for working internationally for the first time.’”
