Lorna Reese (Gobbledegook Theatre) explores what’s involved in creating Outdoor Art.
With her company Gobbledegook Theatre, Lorna Rees has a strong history of socially engaged practice. Their performances can involve music, temporary installation, costume and sound art. Lorna has a strong interest in folk ritual and community and she works on various scales of project – working with hundreds to co-create community pieces for thousands of people or on small scale one-person intimate productions.
Alongside her major works, Lorna creates and collaborates on bespoke commissions and art interventions for festivals, art centres, museums and World Heritage Sites. Lorna considers herself to be artist-activist and often works on interventions under the title of Disruption and Joy. Who better to spend an evening with discussing the world of outdoor arts!
