Presented by Birmingham International Dance Festival, the Outdoor Dance Collection 2021 (ODC21) is an exciting outdoor arts industry digital programme for professional delegates and artists and includes UK Dance Showcase and Dance & The Outdoors Symposium.
UK Dance Showcase (3 & 4 June)
Devised in collaboration and delivered in partnership with XTRAX as part of Platform 4:UK; Dance4 as part of Dance from England; and DanceXchange, producers of BIDF, the UK Dance Showcase will present current choreographic practice for outdoor and site-responsive work.
The showcase programme will provide opportunities for artists, programmers and professionals working in outdoor dance to attend panel discussions, training and artists pitching sessions and other networking opportunities, available via a virtual event platform.
Delegates will also have access to the Outdoor Dance Collection 21 Catalogue presenting current work available for touring by UK dance artists.
