FPAC Conference: Best Practice in Place-based Philanthropy, Birmingham

For our first ever conference we’re inviting partners from around the country to come together in Birmingham to:

  • hear from distinguished speakers including keynote speaker Sir Peter Bazalgette
  • participate in round tables to hear about the work that colleagues around the country are doing in the philanthropy sphere
  • network with other partners in a supportive and skills-sharing environment

14.45 – round tables
Barriers: what prevents cultural organisations raising money (or raising more money) from individuals?
Working together: how can a collaborative approach help to overcome these barriers?
Support: what can FPAC and other partners do to help in your locality?

15.45 – networking break with tea & coffee

16.15 – expert panel including Sir Vernon Ellis (Chair, FPAC & board member, Figurative), Shanaz Gulzar (Creative Director, Bradford 2025) & Nicky Twemlow (Chair, Made in Stoke)
