What is this course about?
This course explores some of the core skills and practicalities involved in managing staff. It will cover the design and development of an effective appraisal process, the skills involved in conducting constructive appraisals and applying these to regular performance management.
Who is this course for?
This course is for existing managers and people preparing to enter a management role. The learning from the session can be applied to a range of situations and sizes of organisations, from small project-to-project companies to large venues.
Approach
This half-day online course offers a mix of the trainer presentation and group discussion, opportunities to put learning into practice and some helpful models and materials.
Trainer: Charlotte Jones
Charlotte Jones is the Chief Executive of ITC. She trained as a lawyer and has many years of experience negotiating contracts and representing ITC and its members to funders, supporters, politicians, the press and media, development agencies, and the wider creative and cultural sector.
