Creating Connections through Playful Interactive Projects, Underscored by Complex Social and Economic Issues
We are The WORKING BOYS CLUB. There are two of us who run the company. I’m Jason, the one writing this, and the other founder is Adam. We make and create work by mixing our experience in the arts with our past lives as tradesmen. I am an electrician by trade turned Circus Director & Adam is a mechanic turned Designer / Maker.
Our flagship project Serving Sounds is a touring British Pub that serves bass rather than beer. An interactive installation and performance instrument, allowing up to four participants to create music together in a completely unique way. Touching a pint glass at the Serving Sounds bar might offer you a synth, a credit card that creates a violin, or a grabbing the real lime for some four-on-the-floor drums. With some amazing help from our producers over at Activate Performing Arts we are on tour this summer.
