OPUS creates cultural programmes and artistic interventions in place-based settings and non-traditional performance spaces, that connect people to each other and the space they are in.

Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces Ltd (OPUS) is run by Birmingham-based Producer Caroline Davis.

OPUS creates cultural programmes and artistic interventions in place-based settings and non-traditional performance spaces, that connect people to each other and the space they are in.

At OPUS, we are a dynamic all-women team of Producers who have the skills, expertise and knowledge to provide a range of services for large-scale, multi-stakeholder, combined arts events and festivals. We have a track record of delivery with arts, sport and leisure, government and corporate / private sector clients, everywhere from bustling civic spaces, shopping centres and train stations, to greenfield, zoos and woodland sites – even on public transport.

We design events with a socially conscious and collaborative approach, and ensure audience experience is at the heart of everything we do. We are mindful of the (literal and figurative) space we are operating in – be it community, civic or corporate – and how an event or intervention is designed to work physically, and symbolically in that space.
