Making eco worriers into eco warriors; art , science, games, action saving biodiversity with fun

In the last 25 years, Maysie and I and our wonderful teams have toured 49 countries worldwide responding to zones of under entertainment. Now we are focusing on saving that world by raising the issue of 40-50% insect depletion and what we can do to restore that keystone species, on whom we depend. We are delighted that the Arts Council England lottery project fund, and the Royal Entomological Society are  supporting our  project URBAN OASIS  pdf link. Our idea is to include action to help save insects with art and games. I am currently studying the psychology of change at the same time and plan to use this project to test theories of the most effective motivations and most effective approaches to help develop the very necessary reform of our role as human animals in the world of nature.

We have come to the conclusion that science needs art,  fun,  games, love,  humor, beauty and community action  to meet David Attenborough’s communication challenge. This six minute video link shows Urban Oasis in action .
