Markmark has a reputation for developing engaging visual, comic, street spectacles and shows. They have worked on commissions for special events developing highly original productions alongside such partners as The National Theatre, London 2012, The Robin Hood Festival, Out There Festival and many others. They also tour internationally and over the last 25 years have performed all over the world to thousands of happy audiences.

Formed in the ’90s by Mark Tillotson, who trained at Ecole Jacques Lecoq and Ecole Philippe Gaulier, the company has developed its own style by fusing various comic elements including Commedia, Farce, Circus Skills, Pantomime and lots of improvisation. This has ensured that all of their shows have a broad appeal across a wide age range. They embrace the strange, weird, unusual and chaotic.
