About Adventure Arts
Adventure Arts is a performance and arts organisation based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. We look to bring amazing performances, workshops and above all fun to as many people as we can. We work in lots of different mediums; story-telling, puppetry, games, crafts- the list goes on!- but our productions and workshops always have play at their core.
Ask us about our shows The Wizard and The Mechanic (TRAILER HERE) , The Adventure Walk (TRAILER HERE) and our walkabout Kindness Karl (TRAILER HERE). At Adventure arts we work collaboratively with a huge pool of artists to deliver wrap around craft activities linked to each performance, check out our integrated version of The Wizard and The Mechanic show- TRAILER HERE.
We are founded on a background of community arts, street theatre and intergenerational art making. Adam has worked with company’s like Wyldwood Arts, Swish Boing (formally Mufti Games) and is one half of Opposable Thumb Theatre, regularly touring internationally across Europe, Scandinavia and Japan. The Wizard and the Mechanic is Adventure Arts second production, and is supported by Arts Council England, Z Arts, Tameside Council, Big Imaginations, GM Spirit Fund and Horse and Bamboo Theatre.
