18 Hours delivers events and education with a focus on global citizenship and diversity

Clients include The British Council, Hastings Borough Council, Rother District Council, University of Brighton, Hastings Storytelling Festival, Big Local, Streets of Rother Festival, Big Local and St Leonards Festival.
We also produce Journeys Dance Festival, our own annual event.

As the Development Education Centre (D.E.C.) for East Sussex, 18 Hours works with teachers to give them the skills, confidence and practical approaches to incorporate active global citizenship into schools.

18 Hours is not-for-profit.

Volunteer at our events

A number of volunteers help with our events, either in the office or helping with stewarding. It’s a good way to meet people, get involved with local events, gain work experience and a reference for your CV.

If you are interested in working with us we’d love to hear from you at office@18hours.org.uk
