The Marketplace is taking place on Tuesday 3rd February, 1.00pm – 6pm, and Wednesday 4th February, 1pm – 4.15pm, in the Guildhall.

What to Expect

It is a platform for artists and programmers to connect and discuss future activity. There will be 75 marketplace stalls this year – plenty of opportunity to chat and meet with colleagues from across the Outdoor Arts sector.

There are two spaces that make up the marketplace: the Guildhall Small Hall and the Guildhall Large Halls (located next to eachother). There are 75 artists, companies, festivals and sector organisations spread across the two rooms, each with a table.

This space will get busy, with lots of conversations happening throughout. The space is open for 8 hours across the entire conference, so you are welcome to visit at different times to see how busy or loud the space is and interact with the marketplace at a time that works for you. There is a quiet space available on the third floor of the Guildhall – look for signs or speak to one of the staff from OAUK or the City Council to help you get there.

There will be some seating available in the large hall away from the marketplace stalls for delegates to have a quick sit down, with teas and coffees available in the Small Hall.
