Winter Warmer Mini Festival

On Tue13 Feb (Pancake Day!) from 11am – 2.30pm join us for a lovely little winter warmer, when Birdhouse – the creative company for children, will be on-site with lots of activities!

Join Mambo Jambo for music-making inside, take a ride on the Bewonderment Machine outside, chat to the ‘Tea Cosies’ and get involved in nature workshops from Lincolnshire Outdoor Learning.

Inside we’ll be having fun with pancakes.

This FREE event also offers the chance for children to achieve a ‘Discover Arts Award’ with a booklet that can be done on the day, or taken home to complete.

Tue 13 February’s Winter Warmer event will take place at Grant Thorold Park (around and in the Canopy Cafe). The cafe will have snacks and drinks available and will also be having fun with pancakes on pancake day.

A spokesperson for Birdhouse said: “We have been working to bring local children and families an engaging and fun programme for the half term. This is a small but lovely programme, designedm to bring a little ‘warmth’ during the winter months. The activity is designed to unlock children’s imaginations, get them involved and to make things easier and enjoyable for parents who are looking for things to do that are easy to access and low cost.”

Children can also achieve their ‘Discover Arts Award’ in a day at one of the mini-festival events, or take it home to complete.
