Vines (Air Giants)

Vines is a collection of robotic plants capable of highly dynamic, flexing and arching motion. Inspired by the complex movement of plant tendrils and vines​.

Reaching to nearly 5 and a half metres, the Vines are interactive and playful with visitors. The piece responds with unique motion, light and sound, making no two visits the same.

Air Giants are inspired by the movement of flora and fauna, and the monumental scale of the installation is a celebration of the wonder of the world that surrounds us. It gives visitors a new perspective on what robots and interaction can mean.
