UEL After Dark returns! After Dark, having started in Bexhill, has spread its wings to further afield and with the help of UEL students, is now making its second comeback at the University of East London.
Join UEL and 18 Hours for an eventful evening of illuminated arts, displays, and performances. This is a free-to-attend event, working with creative organisations, local businesses, and the wider community to deliver the best possible experience.
This festival is produced in partnership with UEL students, and encompasses two weeks of creative workshops ahead of the event, for joint skills development with local schools and the wider East London community.
Many local, national and international artists come together to put on a radiant show within in the streets of East London, on and connecting between UEL’s Docklands Campus and their Stratford Campus. When the sun sets, the streets light up with multicoloured marvels and exceptionally made sculptures which are animated as they move, lighting up the darkness.
