TRUTH! is a Dadaists take on a brighter future, a gentle call to action, a quiet rebellion.
In a world so divisive & full of conflict, can we take a moment of time to rebuild our trust?
TRUTH! is a highly inclusive and accessible show – suitable for all audiences and ages.
TRUTH has a 5 strong integrated ensemble of performers from both companies. At least two of the cast are learning disabled and/or autistic. It is a playful, unique, inclusive, partly improvised, interactive, people-focused, outdoor theatrical happening!
TRUTH explores freedom and social norms using a rich and surreal mix of physical theatre, clown, movement, original music and audience interaction. The performance style and aesthetic is inspired by Dada. It’s gently disruptive, dynamic, comic and heartfelt.
About Ramshacklicious and Hijinx
Ramshacklicious and Hijinx have been collaborating over the past two years to experiment with inclusive performance language using clown and physical theatre, and to create work co-devised by all of the cast.
Working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical performers, empowering the performers to improvise and play with an audience has been key to this process.
