Join our Global Grooves drumming and dance tutors to try your hand at the grooves and moves of Brazil, and join us for a huge happy birthday moment at lunch time!
Craft creepy crawlies with our very own Gordon Banks, ready for a spidery story telling of ‘Ananse’ with Agnes Fough in the afternoon.
Upcycled cotton painting – bring along an old white or lightly-coloured cotton t-shirt or cloth and give it a new lease of life , with guest artist Guga Santos joining us from Brazil.
Performances from:
- ‘Bachelors of Paradise’ by Full Stilt – strutting their stuff after a recent appearance at Glastonbury.
- ‘The Ice Green Man’ by Greenbanks Productions – get your five a day in one-stop!
- Puppet walkabouts – prepare to grab a selfie!
- A spidery story telling of ‘Ananse’ with Agnes Fough in the afternoon.
- Butterfly and moth seek & find and talks in the garden.
Food and drinks will be available to buy all day.
Our family-friendly afternoon also features live music with:
- Global Grooves percussion workshop and Bloco.
- Solo guitarist Mike Mellor, who’ll be bringing Latin, Brazilian and Argentinian flavours.
- The Sunday Sessions band with their Brazilian ‘pagode’ melody and percussion driven music.
- DJ Qwirk will be keeping the tunes flowing between our live acts.
