Streets of Crowborough

“Streets of Wealden returns for another year with a variety of artists and performances, coming to a high street near you throughout April and May!

The events will take place in Crowborough, Heathfield, Hailsham and Uckfield on the last two Saturdays in April and May. There is no need to pre-book, the events are fully funded by the council and are being delivered by fantastic local events company, 18 Hours.

Outdoor Programme

• Circo Rum Ba Ba- The Whizzers
  These small, unpredictable sprites perform mesmeric gliding dances. Get ready for them to chase, or dance with you.
• Dizy O’Dare- Queen of Hearts.
  Off with their heads!!! The Queen of Hearts is in a foul mood and will take it out on anyone who crosses her path! But she can be nice, you’d just better do as she says! Her trusty steed the Dodo bird however is just plain cuddly, and will stop for a chat and a scratch from anyone she waddles upon!
• Fair Play Comedy- Fairly Fresh Fish
  There are strange stirrings in the jellied eel jar, a worrying seafood smoothie and prawns so fresh they dance before your eyes.
• Amy Amelia Arts- The Magical Butterfly
  This walkabout brings a big splash of colour and enchantment to the day. Her contact juggling always leaves people thrilled as she effortlessly rolls the balls around her hand and body. They appear to magically float as if they have a mind of their own.
• Dolly Delicious- stilt walker
• Inside Out Theatre- A tale of two men, Walkabout Street theatre.
