Friday 28th March – Leek History Walk
Led by Debbie and Terry Potts, the launch walk will look at buildings in and around the town centre of Leek many of which were designed by architect William Sugden and his son Larner Sugden.
The walk will be based on a walk that features in a publication entitled ‘Ray’s Rambles’ published by the late Ray Poole. His town walk was digitised in 2022 by the walk leader and others to enable visitors and local residents learn more about the history of the town of Leek.
When: 11am & 2pm starting from OUTSIDE’s Leek Butter Market stall.

Saturday 29th March – Perhaps Contraption
Prepare to embark on a journey. Let’s weave and howl. Let’s fill the city with colourful harmonies and chattering gestures.
Come together and celebrate the power of community, staying present in the moment and embracing joy; wherever the path may lead you.
Multi award-winning brass band Perhaps Contraption along with Deaf contemporary dancer & BSL poet Hearns Sebuado will be your guides.
This staggeringly unique and uplifting experience combines an original progressive pop score with sign language and contemporary dance.
Expect a curious, jubilant parade, replete with intricate rhythms, expressive motions and a healthy dose of hope.
We encourage you, intrepid traveller, to dance, sing and sign with us. Let’s gather under the big sky and marvel in the moment. Hearts open. Voices and hands in unison.
