The SpareParts festival is back as you know and love it, as part of Tram Sunday in Fleetwood Town Centre, on Sunday 17th July 2022.
Whilst last year we brought the reflective installation ‘In Memorium’ to the Marine Hall gardens, this year we return to our fun, walkabout acts and crazy contraptions for you to encounter at the 11am parade which starts at Lord Street and finishes at the old hospital on North Albert Street.
The acts can be accidentally encountered all day long as they move around the Tram Sunday footprint from 10am – 4pm. Amongst 17 new acts commissioned for 2022, you can ask for a selfie with an Octopus on a Bicycle, you can dance to the Rajasthan Heritage Parade Band or hang out at the Compact Disco, you can listen out for the fabulous Flatulator then watch the slapstick Honeymoon Balloon show at Euston Gardens. SpareParts is a joyous, celebratory way to spend one of your Sundays in July. The sun always shines and there are smiles a-plenty, so, we do sincerely hope to see you there. Don’t forget the parade is earlier this year at 11am.
