We are kicking off the Big Lunches with two fantastic acts in South Ockendon!
SAY will be performing the album: skool edition. This is a celebration of the joy which comes from making up dances to exciting new music. They combine slick contemporary dance routines with beatboxing and alternative pop music.
Then, prepare to be wowed by Gandini Juggling who have been amazing crowds with their contemporary take since 1992. Their show You Too Can Tutu follows their journey through the world of circus and ballet turning serious into silly and vice versa!
Plus there‘s a live DJ set, additional creative and physical activities, live entertainment, sports, and stalls including basketball coaching.
South Ockendon Big Lunch is being organised in partnership by Start Thurrock, Thurrock Council, Thurrock CVS, Impulse Leisure and Active Essex.
Entry to this event and the majority of activities are free and we encourage you to come along with a picnic to share with your family and friends.
Some additional activities may incur a small cost, and refreshments such as tea, coffee, ice creams and cakes will be available to buy on the day.
