This winter, head to Scarborough and experience a brand-new festive event, Scarborough Lights.
Scarborough Lights is the first event in The Scarborough Fair programme and will see the whole town sparkle and shine from 15 November through to 23 December, with many free light displays to enjoy.
Scarborough Lights will formally open with a launch event on 18 November with a fabulous drone display over the stunning Scarborough Castle. Nick Lane, a writer at Stephen Joseph Theatre has created a script celebrating Scarborough’s history, past, present and future, a fabulous way to launch Scarborough Lights. The show is viewable from South Bay but the best view is from the Castle.
A brand-new winter lights trail will see Peasholm Park illuminated like never before. Book your tickets and enjoy this enchanting trail through the park where you will see a collection of unique and beautiful light artworks. Artists locally and from across the UK and Europe have been involved in creating this incredible display. The international artists are coming from Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary and Slovakia, many of whom for the very first time. Running from 4pm – 10pm daily, 15 November through to 22 December.
