Vanhulle Dance Theatre will be presenting Olive Branch, a family-friendly acrobatic dance show which blends physical theatre and martial arts, at the Purfleet-on-Thames Big Lunch.
The show follows two strangers in a magical forest who must unite to save Mother Nature. With stunning acrobatics, humour, and heart, it’s an imaginative, feel-good tale of friendship, cooperation, and the beauty of the natural world.
Plus there‘s a live DJ set, additional creative and physical activities, live entertainment, sports, and stalls hosted by The Purfleet Community Hub.
The Purfleet-on-Thames Big Lunch is being organised in partnership by Start Thurrock, Thurrock Council, Thurrock CVS, Impulse Leisure and Active Essex.
Entry to this event and the majority of activities are free and we encourage you to come along with a picnic to share with your family and friends.
Some additional activities may incur a small cost, and refreshments such as tea, coffee, ice creams and cakes will be available to buy on the day.
