Weird and wonderful, outrageous and outstanding – the Out There Festival brings you some of the world’s finest circus and street arts performers… mostly free!
2024’s festival will be their sixteenth edition and is featuring on a new date! 30th May – 1st June 2024!
Breath-taking spectacle and quirky comedy combine in a festival woven through with world-class performance, family-friendly atmosphere and more than a fair dose of seaside silliness! Regularly attracting more than 60,000 people, the festival blends iconic international acts and the finest UK performers with massive amounts of community participation, and family fun.
Access
Out There is ensuring the greatest level of accessibility for this year’s festival, including audio described shows, BSL interpreted shows, relaxed performances, shows with a touch tour and an Access Hub which will be the port of call for any access needs.

Professional Programme
The Out There Festival Professional Programme will take place Thu 30 May – Sat 1 Jun and is a prime opportunity for the outdoor arts and circus sectors to network and let loose. It’s a busy afternoon of coming together to discuss & debate and connect & chew the fat (and our signature delicious food!).
OAUK will be at Out There Festival with Festival Focus cohort and will also be facilitating an On The Road Brunch, where we’ll discuss where we’re at with European and international touring (as a prelude to Circostrada Fresh Street #5 which will take place next year at Out There Festival 2025)
