Day 1

Wed 22nd May 2024 12pm-4pm

Our journey begins.

Meet us at the start of our journey at Warland Swing Bridge and walk alongside us…..

Or join the tow path where the Pennine Bridleway crosses the canal ….

You might choose to wait for us at Birks Hill Bridge, behind Walsden Post Office…

or at Alma Road Bridge, behind Grandma Pollard’s old chippy …

One way to make sure you catch sight of us, is to join the tow path ahead of us on the route and walk back to meet us. You will definitely see us at the end of today’s journey at the Copperas House Bridge where the canal goes under the road.
